3 Omega Green Protocols To Try

Posted by Sarah Kinsler-Holloway on

The Omega Green by O'Melon is undoubtedly one of our favorite treatments. It is so incredibly healing, and clients see results within 24 hours.

First, a quick recap:  The Omega Green is a facial protocol for those with acne or rosacea.  It uses Chlorophylln Copper Complex and Allantoin to help heal the skin, and reduce inflammation.

More specifically, this treatment has antibacterial, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and wound healing capabilities.  And, we're here for all those things!

There is a basic facial protocol, which you can find here, however, we wanted to share three other ways you can incorporate the Omega Green into a facial.

Omega Green + Chemical Peel

This protocol should be reserved for clients that have already received several treatments. It's important to know and understand their skin before doing this protocol.

Step 1:  Cleanse the skin

Step 2:  Apply chemical peel to dry skin (the chemical peel will depend on the client's skin, but this protocol works well azeliac, and salicylic acid.

Step 3: Follow basic Omega Green facial protocol (here), but skip the nano-needling.

Omega Green for Rosacea or Inflammed Acne

This protocol is for skin with severe barrier issues, where nano-needling isn't appropriate.

Step 1: Cleanse the skin

Step 2: Follow basic Omega Green facial protocol (here), but skip the nano-needling.

Step 3: Immediately upon removing the Omega Green sheet mask, use cold derma coolers and lightly massage the face with very little pressure.

Omega Green for Severe Acne

This is best for those who have inflamed acne, or those that require a good amount of extractions

Step 1: Cleanse the skin

Step 2: Gentle enzyme exfoliation, or chemical peel

Step 3: Extractions

Step 4: Clay mask for 5-10 minutes (keep damp by laying wet 2x2 over top)

Step 5: Proceed with basic Omega Green protocol (here)
