Holiday Promo Ideas for the Spa

With November just a week away, we wanted to give some Holiday promo ideas if time has gotten away from you:


PLAN FOR THE HOLIDAYS

Christmas (what?!) is not too far away. I don’t want to admit it, but now is the time to start thinking about holiday promotions.  One of our favorite promos is the “Buy 1 Get 1 Gift Card Special”, especially for new estheticians who are still building their books.

A client buys a gift card for an amount you’ve designated, and they receive a gift card for the same amount gratis (free). But, there’s a catch.  They have to give that gift card away, and they can’t use it on themselves.  This hopefully will get you some new faces! Maybe you even make cute envelopes so clients can conveniently hand it to someone else?

While we’re on the topic of buy one get one, we also love the idea of free gift with purchase for retail.  Everyone loves something for free!  By adding a free gift, you’ll likely see your retail soar; don’t forget to market it, though!

A MONTH OF GRATITUDE

I tend to try to think outside the box, and come up with unique promo ideas. I think this sets us apart from what other spas are doing.  For the month of November, instead of popular pumpkin facial, here are some ways to show gratitude to your clients in a unique way:

Complimentary Upgrade with service –  Perhaps have a list of upgrades that your clients can choose from that will be on the house.  This is a fun idea, and can introduce them to an add-on they may want to pay for later!

Double loyalty points for the month – If you don’t have a loyalty program, you should!  The beauty of a program like this is it’s completely customizable!  We’ve seen discounts on services after a certain dollar amount spent, a discounted service after a certain number of services rendered, or you can have a retail loyalty program!

Complimentary extended Service –  Maybe you want to reserve this for your OG clients, but extending a service is a nice way to say thank you.  We like the idea of extending a 30 minute facial to 45 minutes, or 60 minutes to 75.
